Insurance & Payment Information
We are working toward accepting insurance!
Athelas Psychiatry & Wellness is currently in the process of becoming credentialed with insurance providers. While credentialing is underway, appointments are available on a self-pay basis at the rates listed above.
We anticipate accepting a variety of insurance plans once credentialing is complete. We will update this page as individual insurance plans become available.
Using Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement of self-pay services.
Upon request, we can provide a superbill—an itemized receipt containing the information you may need to submit a reimbursement claim to your insurance company.
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance provider and is not guaranteed.
Payment Options
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit and debit cards, including eligible HSA and FSA cards.

Spravato® (Esketamine) Treatment Costs
At Athelas Psychiatry & Wellness, we believe that financial considerations should not be an unnecessary barrier to accessing innovative depression treatments.
The cost of Spravato treatment varies depending on your insurance coverage, pharmacy benefits, and individual treatment needs.
Spravato treatment involves two separate costs:
Medication: Spravato is typically supplied through a specialty pharmacy. Your medication cost depends on your insurance coverage, deductible, copayment, and eligibility for financial assistance.
Treatment & Monitoring: Each session includes supervised administration, clinical monitoring, and a required observation period of at least two hours. These services may be billed separately from the medication.
Insurance Coverage & Financial Assistance
Many insurance plans provide coverage for Spravato when medical necessity requirements are met. Prior authorization may be required.
Eligible patients with commercial insurance may qualify for the Spravato withMe Savings Program, which can reduce medication costs to as little as $10 per treatment. A separate observation rebate program may also help with eligible monitoring expenses. Program restrictions and eligibility requirements apply.
Visit Spravato withMe to learn more.
Personalized Cost Estimates
Because coverage varies, we encourage prospective patients to contact us to discuss treatment eligibility, insurance benefits, and anticipated out-of-pocket expenses.
